Our Leadership Team is committed to serving God, caring for His people and advancing the vision of Great Light Church. Together, they provide spiritual oversight, pastoral leadership and strategic direction, helping people connect, grow and serve as we make the Gospel of Jesus Christ accessible to all.
In 2007, Pastor Ope received a clear call from God to plant a church. Three years later, in December 2010, Great Light Church was established with a vision to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ accessible to all.
With many years of experience in counselling, mentoring and leadership, Pastor Ope is passionate about seeing people flourish spiritually, personally and purposefully. A certified life coach, he is committed to raising leaders, empowering the next generation and helping individuals discover and fulfil their God-given potential.
Pastor Janet is a woman of unwavering faith, vision and compassion whose leadership has been instrumental in the growth and strength of Great Light Church since its inception.
Passionate about seeing people thrive, she has a particular heart for empowering women to fulfil their God-given purpose at home, in the workplace and in ministry. She provides oversight for GLC Pearls and The Community, creating spaces where people are encouraged, equipped and inspired to grow in faith and purpose.
Pastor John provides strategic leadership for Great Light Church, overseeing our global vision, mission and outreach initiatives. He ensures our ministries, locations and expansion efforts are well resourced, aligned and equipped to fulfil God's purpose.
Pastor Deji provides day-to-day pastoral leadership for GLC London, overseeing ministry teams and supporting the smooth running of church life. He is passionate about the spiritual wellbeing, growth and pastoral care of our church family.
Pastor Richard oversees discipleship and biblical teaching across GLC London, ensuring sound doctrine is at the heart of every teaching ministry. He also leads the Men's Ministry, encouraging men to grow in faith, purpose and leadership.
Pastor Kunle leads the operational delivery of GLC London, overseeing service management, departmental coordination and logistics. He works to ensure every service and ministry operates with excellence, efficiency and purpose.
With decades of ministry experience, Pastor Anita is passionate about cultivating a healthy church culture where people can thrive. Through innovation, mentoring and leadership, she inspires individuals to discover their God-given potential and live it out with confidence.
Pastor Omo leads the Evangelism Ministry, equipping the church to confidently share the Gospel through outreach, training and community engagement. His passion is to ensure we continually take the message of Jesus beyond the walls of the church.
Pastor Yoyin leads our Children and Youth Ministries, creating safe, engaging and faith-filled environments where young people can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith and discover their purpose. She oversees all children's and youth services, programmes and events.
Pastor Marilyn provides pastoral oversight for the Docklands congregation, supporting its spiritual growth, community life and local outreach. She also builds and maintains strong relationships within the Docklands community, helping extend the mission of Great Light Church throughout the area.
Olu oversees service and people engagement, ensuring that both newcomers and regular church attendees are warmly welcomed and well cared for.
Sandra manages the elders ministry and also assists with community liaison and outreach efforts.
Binye serves as our music minister, overseeing worship for all church activities and events throughout the year.
Minister Isiuwa manages the audiovisual ministry for all church services and events, overseeing a total of four teams.
