Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Lord Let my shine in 2026. For I am a city set upon a hill in Jesus name.  

1. Divine Guidance

Prayer: Father, order our steps and lead us in Your perfect will in GLC. 

Psalm 37:23 – “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.”

2. Hearing God Clearly

Prayer: As a church as individual collectively we shall hear and recognise and obey the voice of the Lord in 2026. 

Isaiah 30:21 – “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”

3. Wisdom for Decisions

Prayer: GLC We shall walk in wisdom in spiritual, personal, familiy and financial matters. May we be connected to God’s GPS in 2026. 

James 1:5 – “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

4. God’s Counsel

Prayer: The counsel of the Lord will uphold us and guide our lives and families in GLC in 2026. 

Psalm 16:7 – “I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.”

5. Trusting God’s Path

Prayer: Teach us to trust You fully this year we would not rely on our own instincts. 

Proverbs 3:5–6 – “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

6. Light on Our Path

Prayer: Heavenly Father, illuminate our path concerning destiny and purpose. No one in GKC will miss purpose this year in Jesus name. 

Psalm 119:105 – “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

7. Divine Timing

Prayer: Align us with Your perfect timing. Patience for divine timing be released in Jesus name. 

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

8. God Going Before Us

Prayer: We ask that Jehovah goes Go before us and prepare the way in 2926. 

Deuteronomy 31:8 – “And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

9. Divine Instruction

Prayer: Teach us the way we should go.

Psalm 32:8 – “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

10. Led by the Spirit

Prayer: Let us be led daily by the Holy Spirit. Not on a speed date but we want a relationship with the holy spirit. 

Romans 8:14 – “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

11. Supernatural Open Doors

Prayer: Lord, open doors no one can shut. Doors be wide open. The ones that refuse we uproot them from the foundations.  

Revelation 3:8 – “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.” Psalms 24 : lift up your heads oh ye gates. 

12. Peace in Decisions

Prayer: Let Your peace rule in our hearts.

Colossians 3:15 – “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.”

13. Walking in God’s Will

Prayer: Fill us with the knowledge of Your will.

Colossians 1:9 – “For this cause we also… do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”

14. Clarity, Not Confusion

Prayer: Remove confusion and grant clarity.

1 Corinthians 14:33 – “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

15. God’s Plans Prevailing

Prayer: Let Your purpose stand in our lives.

Proverbs 19:21 – “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.”

16. Obedience

Prayer: Give us grace to obey You promptly. And you trust your leading. 

1 Samuel 15:22 – “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”

17. Protection on Our Journey

Prayer: Preserve our going out and coming in all through 2926.  

Psalm 121:8 – “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

18. Divine Alignment

Prayer: Align our desires with Yours. Not my will but yours be done Lord. 

Psalm 37:4 – “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”

19. Fruitfulness

Prayer: Make us fruitful in purpose and service.

John 15:8 – “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

20. God’s Presence

Prayer: Let Your presence go with us.

Exodus 33:14 – “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”

21. Strength and Power

Prayer: Strengthen us for every assignment in 2026.  

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

22. Direction in Uncertainty

Prayer: Lead us when we cannot see clearly.

2 Corinthians 5:7 – “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

23. Deliverance from Wrong Paths

Prayer: Redirect us from every wrong step.

Psalm 23:3 – “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

24. Divine Health and Healing

Prayer: Heal and restore our bodies and minds and intellect. From hurts and disappointments. 

Jeremiah 30:17 – “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.”

25. Long Life

Prayer: Satisfy us with long life in 2026 and years beyond. 

Psalm 91:16 – “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

26. Financial Prosperity

Prayer: Prosper the work of our hands, the establishment of businesses. Generational wealth like Issac.  

Deuteronomy 28:12 – “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure… and to bless all the work of thine hand.”

27. Career and Work

Prayer: Protect our careers, jobs, and connections in 2026. 

Psalm 90:17 – “Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us.

28. Investments and Resources

Prayer: Guide us in wise stewardship. No more wastage. 

Ecclesiastes 11:2 – “Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.”

29. Skill and Excellence

Prayer: Increase our skills and grant excellence in what is required. Be it AI or whatever is needed Lord endow us. 

Proverbs 22:29 – “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings.” 

30. Spiritual Sight

Prayer: Open our eyes to see spiritually not as men see this year Lord. 

2 Kings 6:17 – “Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.”

31. Discernment

Prayer: Give us discernment in all things.

Hebrews 5:14 – “…those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

32. Peace in the Home and Marriages.  

Prayer: Let Your peace reign in our homes in GLC. 

John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.”

33. Blessing on Families

Prayer: Bless and guide our households.

Joshua 24:15 – “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

34. Blessing on Children

Prayer: Let our children know You and walk in peace. Give our children and sound mind to be leaders in their generation.  

Isaiah 54:13 – “And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”

35. Legacy

Prayer: Help us to build and leave a godly legacy.

Proverbs 13:22 – “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children.”

36. Joy in the Journey

Prayer: Let us delight in doing Your will in 2026. 

Psalm 40:8 – “I delight to do thy will, O my God.”

37. Stability

Prayer: Make us steadfast and unmovable.

1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”

38. Angelic Help

Prayer: Send divine angelic help as we follow You.

Psalm 91:11 – “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

39. Completion of Purpose

Prayer: Help us finish our God-given assignment. I will finish Strong in 2026. 2026 will be better than all the previous years.  

Philippians 1:6 – “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

40. A Life Fully Directed by the Father

Prayer: Let our whole lives reflect Your direction and glory.

Romans 11:36 – “For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.”
